I’m thrilled to announce the release of my newest collection of botanical note cards!
This collection features forget-me-not’s, plum blossoms, nasturtiums, hummingbirds, thistles and hibiscus. The cards are broken into two separate collections – screen-printed cards (sprigs and sprays) and block-printed cards with vellum overlays and sewn elements (the vellum and gold collection).
Printing directly onto vellum allows for a dream-like quality – soft and subtle, almost like a memory. The “sprigs and sprays” collection is homage to the gardens and garden-lovers in my life.
Cards are printed in editions of 36 or 15.
I have included images of my process – from the initial sketches, to the blocks and patterns, to the finishing touches.
