here is a compliation of my discoveries. I call these colors "almost browns" and "almost blacks". at first glance, they appear to be the typical tan, cream or grey, but they actually contain a huge spectrum of colors in their undertones. depending on the surrounding colors, they may shift in tone to purple, red or orange. plant dyes are living color, so they react to what's around them.
